Actiu presents at Habitat 2015 'Spaces that inspire'

FEBRUARY 2015 | 3 minutes

The future of offices involves warm spaces, with soul, which inspire, attract and provide well being for the people who work in them. We need comfortable, open and pleasant places where we can join work and leisure together. Under this premise, Actiu will attend Habitat Valencia 2015 (N2-P6 Stand: A93,22), from 9 to 13 February, with a proposal that reflects the new ways of working.

Under the slogan "And you, where do you work from?" Actiu will shape this new work philosophy at a stand where communication, creativity, privacy live together in a natural way. Spaces which connect with their users, improve the work environment, the well being and health of those who use it, promoting productivity and talent.

The NUDE Lounge and FLASH area

Actiu is also present in other areas at the Habitat Fair Valencia. The FLASH area will exhibit the latest three products made by Actiu: Badminton, Wing, Prisma, Cron and Shey, three different proposals in seating with very well defined character and personality.

Furthermore, Actiu is one of the main sponsors of the thirteenth edition of the NUDE lounge, the most relevant platform of new design at Habitat. And amongst the new approaches of design and habitat, which strongly emphasises one of the topics for discussion at the round table, organised by Actiu at NUDE, Wednesday 11 February at 4 p.m. 'Workspaces or spaces for work'. Different professionals from the design world, interior design or architecture will use their experiences and debate on the best work environments, independently of where they are located.

The roundtable will be moderated by Soledad Berbegal, Director of Marketing Department at Actiu, and it will count on the presence of:

- Luis Calabuig (@LuisOdosdesign), creative director of Odosdesign, design agency specialising in product design, communication and the direction of art. Currently this design study works with leading brands in the world of habitat such as Arlex, Gandia Blasco, Mobenia or Punt.

- Manuel Zea, architect and president of Coworking Spain, the first online platform that brings together the various offerings of coworking spaces in Spain. It is a benchmark for this sector established in 2010 with the aim of promoting the culture of coworking in Spain. Manuel will tell us his views on these new collaborative spaces and how to design them to enhance productivity, creativity and synergy among its occupants.

- Macarena Gea (@macarenagea), architect, interior designer and wedding planner. Currently, the fashion blogger with the most hits online. Since 2009, she has been a partner of  “Três” architecture and interior design studio and collaborates with various magazines. A job she does from different creative spaces, such as her home, cafés or parks. She'll explain to us her best environment to work in.

- Borja García is an architect and industrial designer. Amongst his projects, we can find the Malmö, Copenhagen and now Oslo restaurants. He is also actively working for brands such as Punt, Gandia Blasco or as an independent architect. He is currently the coordinator of the Master of Industrial Design and architectura at University CEU Cardenal Herrera.

- David Blay (@davidblaytapia), sports writer and journalist. In the last year he has just finished publishing a book called "Why not let us work from home?” An example that reflects on the benefits of telework at a professional and personal level.

The NUDE lounge, amongst its facilities as a coworking space, equipped by Actiu, will be available for all those visitors who need an internet connection, work from the fair, read or simply want to relax for a while.

In short, Actiu wants to create spaces that connect with their users, improve the working environment, welfare and health of those who use it, favouring productivity and talent. And for this reason, they will reflect along with five experts who will explain in detail their "spaces that inspire".
